Personal Financial Readiness is kicking off a new weekly discussion series called Money Club: TSP Fund Series starting Thursday, 4 JUNE at 1 PM.
All military service members, family members, federal civilians, retirees, and other interested members of the community are welcome to register and attend.
This group will meet live via Microsoft Teams for seven weeks, and each session will focus on one part of the Thrift Savings Plan funds — short, focused, and to the point.
Weekly Topics
• 4 JUNE – G Fund: Stability vs Growth
• 11 JUNE – F Fund: Bonds Are Not Cash
• 18 JUNE – C Fund: U.S. Stock Growth
• 25 JUNE – S Fund: Smaller Companies, Bigger Movement
• 2 JULY – I Fund: International Growth and Diversification
• 9 JULY – L Funds: A Ready-Made TSP Mix

Here’s the format:
• 10–15 minutes: A straight-from-the-source walkthrough using the official tsp.gov website (you can leave after this or stay for the discussion)
• A simple example or group discussion prompt to make the fund easier to understand
• Open discussion after, if you want to ask questions or share insights
• Total time: 30–45 minutes
• PFRS will stay briefly after for additional discussion or questions.
This is a live-only series — no recordings. It is designed as a chance to drop in, learn something useful, and be part of a practical community conversation around TSP investing.
