Join MWR Fitness Personal Trainers on a 35 Day Weight Loss Challenge focusing on healthy eating habits, regular exercise, and mindfulness by incorporating more fruits and vegetables, reducing sugar intake, walking or running 30 minutes daily, and practicing mindful eating techniques. 

 

Duration: The weight loss challenge will last for 35 days.

Participation: Participants will participate individually.

Weight Goal: Achieve the most weight loss in 35 days.

Tracking: Participants can use a weight scale, weight loss apps, and fitness trackers to track their progress.

Reward: Your Health is Your Wealth. $25 Gift Card for Male and Female Winners*. *All Participants are Winners, however, only 1 Male and 1 Female with the most weight loss will receive a $25 Gift Card. 

Communication: Weekly updates by participants and weekly leaderboard updates by MWR Fitness Center are provided to keep participants motivated.

 

Helpful Tips on Nutrition

  1. Increase Fruit and Vegetable Intake: Aim to include a serving of fruits or vegetables with every meal.

  2. Reduce Added Sugars: Eliminate or significantly reduce sugary drinks and processed snacks.

  3. Mindful Eating: Pay attention to hunger cues and eat slowly savoring each bite.

  4. Portion Control: Use smaller plates and measure portions to avoid overeating.

  5. Hydration: Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

  6. Whole Foods: Focus on consuming whole, unprocessed foods like fresh produce, lean proteins, and whole grains.

Healthy Tips on Exercise

  1. Daily Walks: Aim for at least 30 minutes of walking per day.

  2. Increase Intensity: Incorporate jogging, running, or other cardio activities.

  3. Strength Training: Include exercises like squats, lunges, and push-ups to build muscle mass.

  4. Yoga: Consider incorporating yoga for its physical and mental benefits.

  5. Weekend Activities: Engage in enjoyable activities like hiking, swimming, or dancing.
